Yep, your right the 11's were 9600 max and the 12's 10k max, does not seem like any changes must have changed it to give more payload given how much they weigh empty.

I did yesterday.

Truck: 2012 Ford F-450 Lariat 4X4

Full tank of fuel, DEF full, 5er hitch in bed and Me. add 1,000lbs for wife, kids, bikes, some wood water and travel snacks.

Truck net 9,000lbs
Pin weight 2,240lbs

Ford specs
Payload 5,260lbs
GVWR 13,300
Max 5th wheel weight 24,500lbs
GCVWR 33,000lbs

Trailer: 2013 Crusader 355BHQ 5er

Add about 500lbs for gear/food not already in the trailer.

Well within my trucks limits and ranges.

Is that a mis-print or does your 450 only have a 13,300 GVWR?

The chassis-cab is a higher rating for payload than the consumer version, but the consumer verison is higher rating for towing and GCVWR.
