Spare tire for Jeep...On or Off...

I have been taking the spare tire off my Jeep to tow, but every time I put it back on, I think to myself, "Self, I think you have room to keep it on". So, today, I did some measuring, and backed the Jeep up to a 45 degree angle to the trailer, and it looks promising, but I want to ask you all, what you think. Also, I have my hitch pin in the 1400lb hole. I could pull it out to the 1000lb hole, but that would cause more "leverage".

I think I would run it like that. Even in a severe "dip" I don't think it would hit anything. The WDH spring bars won't let it go but so far.

The 1000 lb. hole should be OK as long as the tongue weight is well under that, but it will give you more leverage. You may need to tighten up on the springs a link if you do that......or maybe not.

If it was me, I'd test it in a parking lot at every possible angle. Sure a shootin', something would happen and I'd get to test all those angles anyway... I'd sure hate to push the spare into the tailgate by hoping all is well.
