Stupid deer!!!
Well first off deer are very tasty and fun to hunt but not with your truck! Last night I was driving along (without the TT) and whammy!! Stupid deer meets truck thing! Me and my family are just fine and on the plus side I know for a stone cold fact that the superduty brakes will stop you in a hurry!! I still slammed into the dang deer and ruined my bumper on my 2013 superduty though! But at least when I hit something I hit it right! All in all it about made me cry seeing my new truck like it is but now I have a perfect excuse to get the road armor bumper I want!!!

One of the guys at my work went Elk hunting with a Chebby caliber last year, the insurance company bought him another one.

I had a deer run into the side of my car (a Prius) and damage the front fender and lights rather considerably. Never saw the deer and figure he just ran off after winning the tangle with a Prius.
There was a tuft of deer hair left in the space between the fender and the door, and the dealership that did the repairs added a charge for disposal of this "biological material." Can't remember how much the charge was.

I can sympathize...
I lost the TT I was trading in on the FW in my sig at 12:30 on a nice sunny day coming back through NY just over a month ago. I saw the lead kamikaze deer and slowed enough so as not to run it down with the truck, however the second was coming at a gallop just behind and made it part way between the truck and trailer. Lots of carnage ensued but it didn't look too bad except for the cargo door, missing plastic fairing and front cap which popped back out easily (after cleaning the blood and poop from all down the side). However, the dealer would no longer touch it due to bent frame rail (ultralight construction meets deer @ 60mph). Insurance company wrote it off for a bit more than the trade-in was worth so it was pretty much the best possible outcome from a deer strike.
Lost a car to deer two years ago too so I'm all in favor of wildlife control.

I never understood hunting since I have to try so hard not to kill those suckers.

Some toyhaulers have the ladder in front since the garage door is in back.

I saw one last year in a CG, thought it was strange looking but understood why it was there.

Never hit a deer, but did hit an opossum in a new 64 Chevelle in a curve just north of Knoxville, IA and it hit the tie rod and bent it up onto the A frame resulting in locking the steering. Really thought we were going for a ride into the culvert/ditch and finally jerked on the steering wheel to get it loose. Extremely scary situation. Got out and looked at what had happened and could just see wearing a tire out on the rest of the trip to Trenton, MO about 120 miles. Turns out had to replace all 4 of the junk Firestone tires within 5,000 miles anyway due to blowouts. Switched to GY and never had a Firestone tire since.
