Superglide hitch

Superglide hitch installed. When not towing is
There a way to lock the hitch so it doesn't slide when braking and taking off?

A am new to a 5th wheeler (so I hope what I am telling you is right) and have the super glide hitch. I just push the hitch forward and lock it in tow mode and it stays right there. Good luck,

There is an adjustment nut at the front of the hitch that snubs the hitch body at the "tow" position as Sor126 stated.

Here is the manual that describes how it is done on page 9

goodreader is a free iPhone/iPad app for reading PDF and DOC files.
It will also open PPT (Powerpoint files).
