Superglide in a 8 ft bed truck

I recently traded my short box truck for 8 ft bed truck. I have a Pullman Superglide that I transferred to the new truck. Is anyone aware of any issues that could arise when I start to turn and the slider moves rearward? (Besides a longer turning radius). I can't see why there should be but you always don't think about every thing when you should.

Having a slider in a truck with an 8 foot bed comes in handy from time to time
