Supplemental transmission cooler

Hi:

I have a 2004 gmc Yukon Denali Xl with the tow package. My transmission temp hovers between 200-220 worst case (really hot days going up steep hills), while towing. Want to add an additional trans cooler to the factory cooler that inside the radiator. Any recommendations on brand and model for this particular SUV.

HERE is ONE on amazon. It'll tell you if it fits your vehicle. Or you can just search there for others that will MOUNT on the FRAME RAILS of your SUV.

a supplemental cooler may not fix your needs but it may .heres a few other things to check.
1) condition of cooling clutch fan ( you can buy hd ones for towing) if it has alot of miles it may be getting week.
2) condition of radiator ( possibly needs flushed)
3) install a supplemental electric cooling fan .

also i noticed you have a a towing package most of those had a remote cooler in front of a/c condenser ?
