Sway bar with WD hitch

I am kinda new to pulling a travel trailer and have read pages and pages to try and answer my question. This forum has really helped me with alot of info from yall and really appreciate it.So,I bought a new MicroLite 25 footer and the dealer installed a wd hitch (E2 with sway control)that does not have the chains.Would it be a good idea to add one of the friction type sway controller also?Tks in advance

Shouldn't have to, since it already has built in sway control.
That WDH should be fine with a smaller trailer like yours.
Personally, I prefer the 4 point Equal-i-zer, over the foreign made E-2.

The E2 and the equalizer are made by the same company and are pretty good hitches. I have the E2 on my 31 ft TT and works great so you should be good with a little bit smaller TT. Are there better ones out there? Probably but it works and , no you don't need any additional sway control with the E2.

Just to clarify, the 4 point Equal-i-zer is made in the US, by Progress Mfg, Inc.
The E2 is made overseas for them.

"They are made in Provo, Utah"

From what I've read of emails from Progress, not the E2, just the 4pt EQ.

sway control

Fully agree with others. You don't need any additional sway control other than what you have now.

I thought E2 was made by Fastway and Equalizer was it's own company??? The site with the E2 says copyright Fastway, whereas the Equalizer says copyright Progress Mfg. The Fastway site does have a link to Equalizerhitch.com, though????? I see nothing about made in America on the Fastway site.......

Per the E2 instructions, it is a Progress Mfg. product. However, no Made in America anywhere, so I'd be really surprised if it is. Also, 10 year warranty instead of Lifetime, which I think the Equalizer has.

Edit: To answer the question- no, do not install a friction bar with this setup.
