Tailgate Gap Cover

I'm looking for input on brands/products that you have used to cover the gap between the bed and tailgate when the tailgate is open. I'm not talking about the dust seal stripping product. What have you tried? How has it worked? Primary use would be to keep things like sand, gravel, wood chips, mulch, etc from falling into the gap.

P.S. I have a spray in bedliner; Rhino liner; so it would need to work with that kind of a surface.

A tarp is simple, just lay it down in your bed before you load the truck, also rubber mud flaps would work, plywood across the gap, several things would work
