thanks to this forum

before i bought a new wdh in march I did some research on this forum and found a lot of advice about checking the install after a dealer installs wdh, i would of never thought to do that. I bought a new equalizer 4 point hitch and checked the set up when I got home and found 1 L bracket at 31 " other one at 32 " and they only used 4 spacer washers, owners manual said start with 5. I put both brackets at correct space and after trying it out, I added 2 washers and now it pulls great, I'm now sway-less. THANKS FOR ALL THE TIPS & TRICKS.

I had to completely redo my set up as well. Even the hitch ball was loose. My set up is great now and I learned a lot in the process. Remember to check the bolts on the link plates during travel and the socket bolts now and then.

There is an advantage to doing your own install. Then you know it is right and you know exactly how it works and how to adjust it.
