The new truck is here.

Front tires are slightly below the back but the camper is level. Thinking the hitch might be ok but had to use an extra link on the WD bars so they're tight. Might raise the hitch one notch and one less link on the bars. ThoughtsClick image for larger version

not sure what you mean by front tires are lower then the back. If you are talking fender or bumper height front to rear difference does not mater at all.

The front height recovery matters, recover at least 1/2 of the difference from no trailer to trailer with no WDH, check the truck owners manual for recommendations. rear height doesn't matter as long as with WDH is not higher then without the trailer.

hard to tell with the angle but it looks like the trailer could be a little nose high

Looking at your setup it looks like you could come up some with your bars to run parrelel to your TT frame. Take measurements on your front tire fender wells empty and try to get there with your WDH. You may have to tilt the ball mount receiver back some to get there.

I meant the ground isn't level so truck is not level, front end is lower. With out the bars the truck dropped a lot. To get it back up I really had to go tighter with the bars than with my old truck. Tighter than o wanna fight with it. The ball is already tilted. My brother works over night at a truck shop and is taking the hitch one notch up for me. The receiver is lower on this new truck.

As a ford owner myself, the nice ride also shows a squashed rear when towing...

Hitches adjusted and I took measurements. With the WD bars the way I like I have half inch rise in the front and 2 inch drop in the back of the truck. Camper level shows almost perfect. This is a no kid trip so no bikes or extra coolers loaded. Next time if I pit stuff in the back I might have to tighten the bars a little. We'll see how she does today on her inaugural trip. 1.5 hours mostly flat highway to the finger lakes

The added bonus to the steps is most other vehicles will hit the step as opposed to door dinging you.
