Things I have trouble with while towing.

I have found that my depth perception on my right hand side is terrible. I have a tough time gauging a cars true position on that side when I am at speed.

I have found that I am much better backing into spots on my left that my right.

I get nervous days before a trip but once started I love the drive.

I hate being boxed in by trucks so I tend to stay in the far right lane.

I prefer to drive with my lights on.

It is impossible to convince my dw she needs to learn to drive the rig.

I hate construction zones and the barriers.

I watch for other RV's and, for some reason, expect to see a wave.

A tank of gas never lasts as long as I think it should.

I love this stuff!

This camping season I went from a 21' microlite to a 40' 5th wheel. I was very nervous at first but now enjoy the challenges of towing such a long camper. I think the key is to slow down and take you time. I told a trucking friend of mine that all my life I have been "giving way" to big rigs and now it's time for others to "give way" to me!
