My Tundra tows great, on my second 5r with the '08 Tundra. Have been through the Rockies a few times and the Cascades a couple of times. Love it as a daily driver and as my tow vehicle.

Phone. Just your normal maintenance on your truck? That seams like a lot of weight to haul with the stock trans/ brake rotor diameter and 3rd member. Not doubting just asking to pass on to friend looking for his 1st TT/TV.
