tire pressure and balancing beads on truck

I have a couple questions and wanted to throw it out there for all of you to get your opinions. If this has been answered before, I am sorry. I tried a search but didn't come up with much.

The first is tire pressure, here is a little info about my setup. My truck is a 2004 F150 SC, FX4, 5.4L with 3.73 gears and our TT is a 2013 Passport 3220BH (35.5', 7500lbs and 1000lbs tongue weight loaded). The truck came stock with 275/65/18 Goodyears that were load range C and rated at (if memory serves) 25XX lbs at 50psi. Shortly after buying the truck I put a small lift in and started running 18X9 wheels with 325/60/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers that were load range D and rated for 3000 lbs at 50psi, I always ran them with 50 psi rear and 45 psi front and they wore really good. Just 3 weeks or so ago I put on 325/60/18 Cooper STT load range E rated for 3525 at 65 psi. I was thinking about running them at the same 50 rear and 45 front as I did my Nittos. What are your thoughts or recommendations for pressure?

Second is balancing beads. The shop where I buy most of my tires from is our local farmers co-op. I took my truck there to have the Cooper STTs mounted, they said because of the size of the tires at 33.5" tall and 13.5" wide they could not fit them on their balancer, but they highly recommended CBB tire beads. They said that they put them in all 24.5, 22.5, 19.5 and oversize truck tires, so I figured OK what the heck. Since the install I have slight steering wheel shake that comes and goes, but vibration gets worse for a short time after hitting a rough section of frost heaved or wash board road. I know that the STTs are a M/T and there will be more feedback from the lugs than from the A/T Nittos, but this is far worse than any M/T tire that I have every ran previously.

I have put 200 miles on since installing them, yesterday I rotated the tires around to see if its an issue with just one tire or a problem with all of them. I have not driven the truck since rotating the tires around and won't be until this weekend. I thought about taking them to a different shop 35 miles away with a machine that can spin balance them. Has anyone had balance beads with similar issues? Any input would be great!

Here also the exeption in Loadrange and AT-pressure .
Yust read a callback of small tires 12 inch wich had C-load AT 80 psi instead of the expected 50 psi, and D-load of that sise I found AT 105 psi instead of expected 65 psi. On the 350 trailers that where called back the 50 psi was given ,probably determined by a new guy in the firm, that assumed because of C-load maximum load was AT 50 psi because thats the standard.

Your 325/60/18 tires have D-load AT 50 psi and E-load AT 65 psi.
Expected respectively 65 and 80 psi, so here to the lower pressure side.

But now pressure advice.
For that I need weights, GAWR of truck front and behind.
Then dont look in old pressure /loadcapacity lists you still find on the internet.
Best is to let me make one for you or calculate the pressure.
But the stiffer E-load needs a bit higher pressure for the same load then the D-load of old tires you had.

Will add pressure/loadcapacity lists I made with my own determined calculation wich comes to lower loadcapacity's then officiall calculation gives, so never unsaver.
So if you have the weights , you can look it back yourselfes.
Gave for 50 psi from li 95 to 138 , also for 65 psi , hope its goes far enaugh for your tires. Also added the complete PDF from 35 to 120 psi AT-pressure.

Definitely go with CBB. I have 19.5 on my F550 and it fixed a balancing issue with one front tire. The good thing is that the tire cannot go out of balance once you have the beads as it is dynamically balanced.

Make sure that the air you put into the tire does not have water.

What do they do with CBB?
what do they put in the tire that its dinamically balanced.
Or am I understanding wrong , I understand by dynamically balancing that its balanced when driving so after a year still balanced , or am I wrong.

Water in tire is also not a big problemm.
mayby can be wrong for sensor of TMPS or the thing they put in for CBB, but for the rimm not.
The water that can come into tire is pretty demineralised and free of salt for instance, Tirefitters will confirm that when they take a tire of the rimm , the rimm inside the tire is not coroded.

Personal opinion, have your tires road forced balanced.

Run the pressure that's on the side of your tire.

Have used the beads for years, always had good luck. Highly recommend them. Just make sure you use Composite Ceramic, not glass or metal (BB).

Ok, I will ask the obvious. What are these beads? Do they replace the ugly clamp weights used to balance ties? Can they be used on most tires? I have a Cadillac that needs the tires balanced but don't want the ugly weight on the rims. By the way, not towing with the caddy.

Usually used as a last resort.
They can use stick on weights for the caddy.
I've used the beads in some big tires before with disappointing results.

I rotated the tires around front to rear and also side to side. I put about 150 miles on the truck this weekend. The steering wheel doesn't shake as much as before, but now you can feel the shaking more in the seat of your pants. I am done with the beads, I am going to call another shop a couple towns away that has a road force machine and hopefully that will solve my problems.
