Cooper Discoverer AT3 standard load $780. (which also has the snowflake for severe snow)
In the last 8 years I have pulled 3 different TT''s all around the 4000# dry weight range. All with P rated tires and not one issue. But I read about the LT tires and they are highly recommended when towing so it got me thinking about them. As I mentioned, considering the past 8 years have been trouble free, I'm just not sure the BFG's in a D rated tire is worth the extra cost. Of course I could also be on borrowed time with the P rated tires.
Those are all pretty popular and good tires. I think they fit better in the category of BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain T/A for direct comparison. The KO/KO2 is a closer comparison to Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac or the Cooper ZEON LTZ as it has more a aggressive tread pattern. It is just moving up a category and the extra money would definitely come into play in the D or E range.
