Tow dolly advice

We have a Forest River FR3 30DS and finally settled on using a dolly to pull our daughter’s 2006 VW Bug. We are planning to camp near Grand Junction CO driving from Des Moines IA.
We went the dolly route primarily to save cost thinking we would not have to buy hitch and do mods to our daughters’s vehicle.
So my question is around recommending a dolly to buy. Was looking at this option: https://www.saferwholesale.com/Heavy...ly-3000lbs.htm
May also look for a used unit too. Thanks in advance for your advice and input!

Ive got a Master Tow ,w/ elect brakes, Got it when we got our MH, in 2016. paid about 1250 . Ive towed a 2008 Nissan and now a 2018 Ecosport Ford. Only thing I can say is, get one w/ either elect, or surge brakes , and a spare. Just watch loading a low to the grd car, you may have to block up the ramps, to keep from hit the front air dam on the car. We've got over 12k on the dollie, no problems.

have fun on the westward trip
