Tow dolly question

Been researching but can't find...do you need lights on a car being towed on tow dolly if dolly has lights on its own? If I do, where would I plug them in if the dolly is plugged into mh?

I use additional lights when I use my tow dolly. I bought a y adapter on ebay that allowed me to plug in the tow dolly and the lights. I needed an extension for the lights they original cord would not reach from MH to rear of towed vehicle.

You DO NOT need car lights when towing a car on a dolly. The dolly lights are sufficient in all states, just be sure they are all (brake, turn signal, after dark lights) working properly and don't mess around with putting additional lights of any configuration on the actual car!

Thank you guys, I was being overwhelmed trying to figure this out. I have the magnetic lights but they don't stick to wife's car, thought it would just be safer with additional lights. Anyways thanks for the response.
