Tow Gear for the 2015 Honda Fit

Just bought the 2015 Honda Fit (Manual Trans.) for towing behind my Georgetown 380XL. I am in the process of assembling the tow gear for this setup and I can use what advisement that can be offered. I have decided on the Roadmaster EZ4 Baseplate Kit, but after that I am open to suggestions. Can anyone share there thoughts on Tow bars, braking systems, or electrical lighting connections?

I accept all informed opinions. Thanks.

Thanks. Actually its my wife's toy. She's just allowing me poke holes in the new grill to attach that base plate. She's just happy to make that happen so she doesn't have to ride around on the back of my scooter (Honda Reflex).

So what tow bars are being used on Georgetown's and is there a better brake buddy than another?

We use SMI Play In Stay Duo to tow our Jeep. Easiest thing to use. Check it out online.

I used the Blue Ox base plate for my Smart car. The Blue Ox Aventa tow bar I found with the help of a travel club member on Craigs list at a huge savings ($275 vs $1K+).
Works well with my Sunseeker Class C.
eTrailer.com helped with my research.
Blue Ox also has a list of requirements and suggestions on their web site.
Camping World had a $39.00 install anything special going on and I took advantage of it since we have one here in Roanoke, VA.
Hope this helps some.

Okay, this is helpful. The only baseplate I have found for the 2015 Honda Fit is one made by Roadmaster (EZ4), so I'll go with that. I'm presuming that towbars are interchangeable for the most part and there is shock absorber and tow weight that would be considerations. If I'm wrong please inform me. The braking system is one that I need to address. Plus electrical hook-ups.

Take a look at Ready Brake with Ready Brute Tow bar. It works for us with our Fit. Put that in Google and you will get lots of information.
