Tow mirrors

I would like to upgrade my stock mirrors that came with my 05 silverado to towing mirrors . I am tired of the clip on mirrors. Chevrolet no longer carries them so I was wondering if anybody had any experiance with mirrors from top gear auto sport. They are heated and have power tilt and they run 300.00. Just hoping they are a quality product. Or maybe another company you have experiance with. Thank You Mike

Try 1aauto.com also they have great prices. But the aftermarket mirrors will never be as good as factory but they should be fine. My dad put aftermarket on his tundra you can tell they are a little cheaper made but they work.

Can't hurt to check Craigslist too. I added tow mirrors after buying my truck and sold the OM mirrors on CL. The buyer had tow mirrors and wanted regular mirrors....if only our paths had crossed a couple of days earlier I could had save some money.

I would keep checking until you buy the mirrors in case of new listings. Hate to miss a great sale by a day...

I've used the Kool Vue brand on different trucks. Just like OEM, a quality product.

If you want oem fit and finish go with kool vue or fit system. I have the fit systems and they look and feel identical to my father in laws oem mirrors.

Got my tundra ones here since tow mirrows were not available on the limited model in 2008. The only thing i dont like about them is that you have to extend and retract by pulling and pushing. They can get really hard to move. Found dry lube to help a little. Heat, turn signals, puddle lamps and power adjust work like originals but they do not fold in under power like OEMs.

eBay lists LOTS of OEM parts...used ones from parting out a vehicle as well as new.
