tow vehicle

I have a Cardinal 37 RX with gvwr of 15500lbs.
I am aware that the ideal TV. would be a dually 3500 diesel.
However, hard to find one used that has not been used hard.
Wondering about a 2500 HD GMC 6.6 diesel with appropriate towing capabilities.
Does anyone here use such a vehicle( or similar) for this weight of 5 th wheel.
Any pros and cons appreciated.
Tks

I have an xlr 300x12hp.

Dry weight on door 12,400 lbs.
I haul all tools-equipment, a rzr 900xp (1200) lbs, fuel (48) gallons, and water when we dry camp.

2015 GMC 2500HD duramax....pulls great. I tow about 65-68 mph.

Exhaust brake is a must and it pulls great. Ideally a 3500 dually would be the best vehicle, but I tow 5-6 times a year and a dually as a daily driver is NOT what I want to do.

Also, my GVWR for my truck is 17,900 lbs.

Some of the older trucks are less but not much unless you go several years older.
