Tow Vehicle question

I have a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder that I am leasing and using to pull a new 2013 Shamrock. It is under the max weight but seems to struggle a little. I have the chance to get a new 2012 Nissan Titan SL with the heavy medal package for $33000 and get out of my lease at no charge. Does anyone tow with that vehicle and how do you like it?

The problem is the "maximum towing capacity" is generally impossible to achieve without exceeding one or more other ratings in the process. To attain the "maximum towing capacity", you can have a 150 pound driver and nothing else in the vehicle.

You need to look at the payload capacity of the vehicle in question and see if it'll support you, your passengers, the stuff you commonly carry, hitch and tongue weight of the camper. Since you already own the camper, you can find that out. The rest you can estimate.

The payload capacity is on the door pillar and is worded such as "the weight of occupants and cargo may not exceed X lbs."

the Nissan Titan is the oldest 1/2 ton truck out there, in terms of design and notorious for its poor gas mileage, compared to all the others.
my friend has one and hates how bad the MPG is.
