Tow Vehicle Rock Guard

Our CC 38FL 5th will be arriving in May. At least that is what our dealer has told us. We have a 13 Ford F350 Diesel SRW and I have a concern about rock chips and other road debris hitting the 5th wheel while towing.
Anybody out there have adequate experience with Rock Guards, Splash Guards, etc. to recommend a certain brand and model? Is the brush type better than solid piece for wind resistance equalling less MPG? Will the heat from the exhaust warp, curl or melt the brushes? Anybody have a solution that works for them?

2015 CC 38FL - Delivery in May 14?
2013 Ford F-350 SRW 6.7 Diesel
Camped 2014 - none yet
Retired? Not yet, but I am sick and tired - does that count?
