towing a CC 31IK with a slider hitch, which one to get?

I am contemplating buying the Demco slider hitch for my 2017 Ford F350 4X4 part number 8550024 to tow a soon to be ordered Silverback 31IK. Does anyone know if this slider hitch will work okay with its available height adjustments to tow the Silverback 31IK? I have the OEM Ford 5th wheel hitch prep on my truck (puck system). I was also looking at the PullRite slider for the Ford 5th wheel prep puck system but the Demco slider seems the best buy since no locking plate is required on standard 5th wheel pin boxes.

I was also looking at the Demco and I believe locking plates are required. But the demco does come with a standard pair.

I went back and forth but decided to go with the pullrite.

depends on the hitch type. trailair and morryde for example do require a locking plate but standard no frills hitches do not and that's according to Demco's website.

I`m most impressed with single jaw action on Demco. Easy hookup. No worries on turns/tight backups. No special capture plate needed. Is heavy.

Yeah I don’t think it works w your puck system. That’s why I ended up with the B&W manual slider.

I have the DEMCO AUTO Glide hitch which I purchased new last year (2018). This works great for my needs towing my Cedar Creek 34RL with the TrailAir king pin box. One of the reasons I purchased this hitch was the fact that the hitch will mate up to the king pin box without a capture plate.

I would also contact the manufacturer to see if they make adapter plates that incorporate the FORD puck system. I know that they make adapter plates for the Ram puck system.
