Towing Bounce/Jitter

Anyone run up and down 15 and 11/15 in PA?. It happens on the cement part of the highway. Any way to get rid of the Bounce/Jitter when towing on that highway? Could my hitch NOT be set up correctly? I tow a 2012 Tracer 3150bhd with a 2011 F-250 King Ranch 6.7 turbo diesel with 3.31 gears and 2100 payload.

I'm not sure what you are experiencing but this past weekend we were on a section of US17 in New Bern, NC that caused porpoising when we drove on it. If we had not driven on it the day before unhitched with the same result I would have thought there was something wrong with the trailer hookup. All I did was slow down some until we were past the area to minimize the effect.

Does your TV react the same without the trailer on those roads? Are you ok on other roads? If the answer to both is yes I would think it is just the road itself and not the setup.

There's a section of I-20 West going in to Bossier City/Shreveport, LA that we affectionately call "The RVer's Gauntlet of Hades". Make sure you stop at the rest area just before you enter that gauntlet unless you wear Depends.

AND, wear a mouth guard.

It's really that bad, been that way for years.
