Towing capacity differences

I recently purchased an FR3 and am preparing to acquire toad towing equipment to tow four down.

I currently have a Jeep Commander which can be towed. It is several hundred pounds under the 5000 lb. towing capacity of the FR3.

My question is:

How much difference will it make if I tow a vehicle that ways around 3000lbs rather than the 4700lb Jeep?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Clark

I would think a little more gas and effort from the FR3 engine would be needed towing an additional 1700lbs...no issues beyond that IMO
