I towed 15k with my '13 ecoboost and it towed fine. Matter of fact with the same load my eco could outrun my '15 F350 with the 6.7L. My eco did have 5 star tunes on it.

TROLL. That's only because your 6.7 dropped an exhaust valve, turbo, and cp4 pump at same time.

The Eco strong engine and would probably beat the heck out of the 6.7 in 1/2 mile drag race empty. But lets take that little 385 HP 420 Foot Pounds torque and put against in F350 going up say a 6% hill using it's 440 HP and 865 foot torque it wouldn't have a chance towing the same weight.

Remember the PS 6.7 is used in both the F250 and F350 but also in the F450 - F550 - F650 - F750 with a 39,000 GVWR.

You forgot to say in reverse.

I wish Ford would come up upgraded EB that they could put in the HD trucks but I doubt you going to see that anytime soon. In 2017 they not only didn't put 6 in HD truck but a V8 will only be in F250. The F350 well get a V10 for gas and 6.7 diesel and no V8 option.

Man, I'm glad we're not still in the era of the gas shortages in the 70's and early 80's. We wouldn't be able to pull a little red wagon based on what we think we need now. The BIG 400 CI small block only made 185 HP in our 3/4 ton with 3.73 gears. Shameful us, though, we pulled a 4-horse gooseneck trailer all over Tennessee, Kentucky, southern Illinois and southern Missouri.

1. The 6.7 is DETUNED in the chassis cabs. For some reason Ford doesn't think it can handle heavy duty use so once you
2. My eco was TUNED to way over 500 ft lbs of torque and my eco was 3k lbs lighter
3. My eco had ZERO turbo lag at the dig, my 6.7 has lag

My lord is this still a pi__ing contest over who's is bigger. Give it a rest for heavens sake. How in any way does this help the OP. If they are still reading this nonsense feel free to drop me a PM and I can detail my setup and experiences. Seems that is the only way to do it sensibly without the conversation being dragged all over the place.

Rant over. Whew that felt awesome.

Looks like the OP (camperboy) now owns EB with over 500 foot lbs of torque towing 15,000 lbs better than his 2015 F350 with 6.7 diesel with 865 ft lbs torque. LOL I guess he has his answer - LOL.

I'm a F150 driver and I have no illusions about what I own. I do have diesel envy but I don't have the deep pockets that others do to purchase one. In my area a nicely equipped F250 or f350 is 10-12k more than what I paid for my F150 and I can't afford it.

If anyone wants to save me from towing a fifer with an F150, please donate $$ to my gofundme site: www.gofundme.com/Iwannaburncoal Thank you, I will use anything received in excess of 68k for sparkplugs on my F150. Please put your money where you mouth is, thank you.
