We were hit with a Tornado this past summer within 1 km of our provincial park. First storm was over the park on Georgian Bay. At 10am looked like night. We packed up in torrential rain, hitched and left in less than 10 minutes to get out of the forest, didn't even dump, just got on the road. They closed the park due to downed trees after the storm was finished. All day very high winds, severe rain, Tornado Warning up/down seen all over Central Ontario and thunderstorms. Tornado EF2 hit around our path home. This was first trip with the F 250. I was glad we had it. Made the same trip the year before with the F 150 Eco. We would have been in the ditch with all the winds, I would have parked it. Much like your trip in Saskatchewan not to be repeated.
