This thread has gotten so far off topic it is nothing but he said she said I think it should be closed. I joined this forum for the info on camping not who truck is better what this thread has turned into. So sad so sad
You should be on topic the original poster was asking EB owners their experiences with their trucks not who has the better truck.

Check the yellow sticker on your truck door.

subtract from that your hitch weight( 80 lbs), how much over 150 lbs you are, your family and dogs weight, cooler and Firewood,

a brief search showed an empty hitch weight of 1146 for your trailer (that's empty), 80 lbs for your WDH, you are probably close right there.

Notice my signature, that why I went with a 2500. the Rams have terrible payload. They will tow like the devil, but you are limited on payload.
Yes, you'll probably pull the frame apart!

Let's make sure this thread stays on track and let's avoid brand arguments. Some recent posts are not in the spirit of this forum.

Not unless you're pulling the trailer by the awning poles.

Get a Chevy or GMC. Independent front suspension on the 4wd. 2wd always has had the IRS.

But I had the ford and Dodge 1 tons and didn't have this issue you speak off. Not as smooth as my Chevy but still didn't ride bad or beat my arms up.

Yes its amazing! One would think that some of the correspondents are being paid by the manfacturers with their brand loyalty that defies logic. You have to consider that the manufacturers love this blind loyalty as the poor correspondent hands over their hard earned cash based on these perceptions marketed by the above. Keep sight of your cash and do proper analysis and make sure that you buy what meets your needs at the lowest cost.
