My Tv is a Chevy 1500. The trailer us maybe 5000 loaded. We are in Indiana so most towing around here is to OH and MI. It is overall pretty flat trips of average 4 hours. We do not plan any mountains yet and are not planning any cold weather camping. I think this is why I have not met any problems, though I certainly see the benefits of a weight distribution system!

This is often not the dealer! I did my own with no problem. Buddy had the dealer do it. He had: incorrect ball height, loose nut on ball mount, over-tightened brackets, chain hangers on backwards, tilt on ball mount incorrect. Just about everything you could do wrong was wrong. We wound up Re-installing it ourselves.
