Question Towing Lacrosse 322res with Ram 1500

NEED ADVICE!!!! We are currently shopping for a new travel trailer. We have been looking at numerous of trailers for around 8 months. What started as fun has turned into a nightmare. Of all the trailers we have looked at our favorite seems to be the Lacrosse 322res. It has a uvw of 7500+ and a hitch wgt of 840. It seems that all the trailers we have been interested in are very close in wgt. 6800-7800 lbs empty. Our biggest concern is our tv 2009 Ram 1500 5.7 3.92 rear axle. My concern is with my rear susp. being too soft. Is anyone on the forum towing a trailer of this wgt w/this truck?? Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Read what your door says for remaining payload. My tongue weight comes in about 700-800lbs loaded wich leaves only 400-500lbs remaining payload. If you have a lot that you put in the truck, be aware of that. I use a WDH and drop 2-3" in the rear when hitched. I get a little bounce, but it is not that bad, really.

With a dry hitch around 840, you will be really pushing limits when loaded. Figure your tongue will probably be 900-1000 loaded and will severely limit what you put in the truck (people included) If you are within your limits, a set of air bags or Timbrens will help the bounce a lot.

I have the 09 rambox. With hemi
831rkss comes in around 6400 dry
I have the equalizer 4 way With sway control
I just installed the t1000 air bags (90.00) E trailer
Will pull this weekend and see what diff they make
I know with 5# air in them the ride is good and took some of the soft spring ride out riding around

Mine 09 pulls the 32' TT very good , we have pulled 5 x's since. January , but I know it's back there

Will pull about 400 miles round trip in October
Good luck
