Big Boy towing.

Hey guys, It looks like you have all done some heaving hauling. Close to Gross. Here's a question. With my fifth w, I have one of those new Air ride hitches mounted on the trailer. My previous FLIK did not have one. I now noticed the truck and trailer is bucking a lot. I did increase the AIR BAGS under the truck to 80 lbs. Whereas with the flik I kept it at 60 lbs.
Question. I wonder if the Bucking is due to the heavier new trailer, or just road conditions. Any suggestions. I have a Dodge 3500 short bed with a B & W hitch. Thx..

I have no experience with the air ride hitches, but I'm sure someone on this forum will have. Hopefully it's just about getting the air pressure set right.

Good luck.

Thanks for the input. I think it was a combination of road surface and air pressure.

#2 Is your platinum a dually?

No, I've got the F350 CC Shortbed, Single Rear Wheel. It did outstanding on our recent 32 day trip up through Rushmore, Badlands, Saskatchewan, Glacier Yellowstone.
