Ok just put a equilizer brand hitch on today. Havent towed yet. Damn this thing is heavy! Anyway I am kind of guessing on how to set it up. When I hitch my truck without the hitch it drops 2 1/2" The front of the truck raises 1/2" Told you it wasnt much on this big truck. So I set the hitch up and the weight distribution and now it drops about 1" on the rear and the front is unchanged. Is this how I am supposed to run it? Any other tips on setting it up? It sure seems like a pain in rear but hey safety first....

Daniel, I assume you have the owners manual, which helps. There's a video at the bottom of this link with the manual download if you need it.
