Towing Toyota Matrix or Yaris

I have a 2014 Georgetown and I am looking for something small to tow. We need something that has a little extra room in the back. We have been looking at the Toyota Matrix and Toyota Yaris. Standard transmission. Hard to find but I have found a few new and used. When not being towed it would only be used by wife running around town. Any suggestions, help with this?

The models you mention seem to indicate a preference for Toyota products......however the Matrix is slightly larger, and you did say you want a little extra room in back. You have a wide selection to choose from when you're prepared to have a manual transmission vehicle.

Have you looked at the Honda Fit? It has been mentioned by a number of people as a favorable choice for exactly what you're looking for.

Just sayin'.
