I was supposed to take delivery of my wildwood 201bhxl next Saturday but still decided to go to the Dallas RV show today just to look around. I found the area my dealer was at and saw the wildwood 275jmxl on sale. It's an exclusive build for fun town RV. It was on sale and only $1000 more than what I was paying so we were able to switch to it. My salesman Micah has taken care of us pretty good so far.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I know you are trying to get real world experience on the topic. My "no" was meant to save you much headache. I've been towing trailers since I was 16, and I still wouldn't think of doing a triple setup. There's just way too much in the "bad" column vs what's in the "good" column. Just don't do it.

Tow a trailer behind the fifth wheel is not for me but I can see it with people that want to bring along a golf cart.

Not for me but I guess your right, not like they have another choice other than a toy hauler.

Rules of the Road

Lippert makes 98% of the trailer frames. They will tell you NO to towing a 2nd trailer.
Your sway control is only for 1 trailer, the trailer connected to the truck, not the 2nd trailer.
Most states restrict or do not allow towing 2 trailers. See above link.
I'm going to guess that the utility trailer has no brakes. What frame do you think is going to take the stress of stopping that 3,000 lbs? That would be the rv frame that was never designed to do that. If the utility trailer has brakes, you need to modify and adjust utility trailer brakes so the utility trailer will not jack knife behind the rv.
The added weight of the utility trailer hitch on the bumper of the rv reduces the weight of the rv hitch on the trucks "bumper". This can reduce sway control and cause porpoising of the rv and truck.
You asked the question of "safely tow". You are NOT driving a semi, you'r towing an rv with a pickup truck.
You say you want to take a golf cart or a quad with a tt, put the golf cart or quad in the pickup bed, then connect the tt to the truck. If you have a short bed, have a bed rack made for the golf cart.
Check with the rv and/or state park your going to. Alot of them do not allow quads or gas powered golf carts. You people are too noisey. Ya, I'm OLD.
Yes people tow two trailers. This is usually done with a 5th wheel. Oh ya, Lippet still says NO to towing 2nd trailer with a 5th wheel.
Go figure. Them engineers don't know anything.
I hope this detailed explanation of my answer of "NO" helps you make a "safe" choice about towing a 2nd trailer.
Oh ya, you could always have DW tow the utility trailer with a 2nd vehicle. It's only 3,000 lbs.

This is his only real option with the RZR shown in the pic.
