Towing with a Ford Expedition

We are looking to purchase a Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite 8310SS
Can it be towed with an Expedition with the 5.7 and towing package?

I pulled the 8315BSS with an Expedition Max (EL in the US) for a while without any problems. There was only the DW and I and we never carried anything in the tanks. We were very close to the tongue weight limit but we managed OK.

It can but keep an eye on hitch weights, loading and your type of hitch will be a big factor.Click image for larger version

We have the pro pride hitch. Once you get it dialed in and sort out the air suspension. I found following the procedure in the manual of allowing it to air up with the trailer on and then setting up the hitch made the ride unstable and bouncy. I bring the vehicle up to level, shut off the air ride and the. Load the spring bars.
8mpg though the mountains today
