That's the big handicap of any 1/2 ton...reach your payload capacity way, way before reaching the maximum tow capacity.
2800 to 3000 lb payload capacity is not enough for a 1/2 ton truck?

I see some 3/4 ton types talking about nothing they anything about,

3000 lb payload beats the pants off of most 3/4 ton trucks. RVdixie is right!

To the OP

Reason number 3 That I want is all that is required. Reason Number 4 is a bonus too .

Also the warranty expired is the most valid reason. Go for it. Have you had the engine blow up or drop the tranny on the 2011... just wondering.. I have 32,000 miles on 2013 with no issues.

It's plenty, that's why I wanted one badly enough to wait 8 months for Ford to build me a 2015 H-D Payload F-150. But, when they said it was going to be a year, I gave up. If they won't build it, you can't buy it.

Does your 2015 F-150 have the H-D Payload package? If it does, it is the first one I, or my Ford dealer, have heard of.

Sorry for your situation. I was lucky enough to order one in January and received it on April 1st. I have to tell you I have owned a dozen or more trucks in my long life and this is the best I have ever owned. I pull a 32' Coachmen Chaparral Lite fiver with it and you can't even tell it's back there. I only pulled it a short distance but I am planning a 3000 mile road trip in June so I will let you know better after a more thorough towing experience.

What does payload sticker say Dixie? And how about the GVWR, FAWR and RAWR? No one has posted axle ratings (2015 model) on here yet as far as I know.

I did not say my truck was rated at 2800 lb capacity. I have a crew cab which seriously drops the weight rating. My truck with the 3.55 axle rating BTW is rated at 2070 carrying capacity. The GVWR is 7000 lbs. The conventional cab is rated as high as 3050 lbs. I do however have a GCWR of 17000 lbs. leaving me a towing weight of 11900 lbs which is more than enough for my trailer. The tongue weight on my trailer is about 1400 lbs empty and the overall weight as equipped is 8900 lbs. I think I have a very nice towing vehicle which is also a dream to drive when not towing.

No worries................Your 2070 is a nice payload...............2800 to 3000 is crazy IMO for a Ford 150!!!!! If they have that much when the HD payload come out I might have to look into one

No, no problems with my truck at all. That's why I am considering another.
