I bought a 94 gel tracker for a toad. Problem is when I make a 90 degree turn the steering continues going back and forth!! I have to stop then it pulls straight. I have towed many times and never had this happen, any ideas? FYI I was towing it behind my truck, had just picked it up.
I would suggest to have the front end checked completely.
Sounds like you have something worn out or bent and when you go into a turn it starts a chain reaction that makes both tires wobble.
I have seen this on a friends Toad which was a Ford and actually seen it happen in front of me to a point it looked as if the front two tires were trying to go in opposite direction and started a severe wobble.
My friend had to complete the turn. Stop and go straight to stop this action.
Have no ide what was wrong because he got rig of that car shortly after it happened a few times to him.
FYI he was towing behind his motorhome.
