Trailer Hitch Swap Out

I have an 05 GeorgetownXL 370TS and am going to get rid of the 3500 pound hitch and add a 5000 pound one. For some reason this year was one of the last that had the smaller one. The chassis is able to deal with the heavier load, so am not sure why they used the small one. Has anyone made this switch and had luck with any one particular brand.

I can find an aftermarket REESE, CURT, DRAW TITE, and HIDDEN HITCH in an RV multi fit bolt on hitch. These are all rated at 5000 pounds. The chassis will tow at least 6000 according to chassis specs, so am good with weight. Wondering if anyone has taken the 3500 hitch off and replaced with one of these. We will be right at 4500 and would never want to overload a hitch.
