Hello all! Im still here and though the hokie "Monster" is saying im spamming or what ever that is simply not the case! all i did was cut and paste the spec's to my tt on here for you all to see, so as to better understand what i have exactly. Our little administrator friend Hokie deleted that info, thinking it was spam! WHAT

my tires are 35's made by Nitto and im sure you all are correct they were not designed for trailer pulling. going to do some more research to see if i can get into a new trailer possibly a 5th wheel set up. if that cant be done may go as far as trading my truck for a duelly. any way thanks again.

Dont take the deleted post too personal we have a very strict rule on here about spam just repost the info without copy and pasting the info in the thread

Here is the post that was deleted, minus the advertising links. I'm not the bad monster he thinks I am, nor am I little, but I don't tolerate spam and the fact that there were advertising links running through this led to a reported post from a member and action was taken.

I have to say if you're thinking that you can tow a 5th wheel with a tow vehicle with 6" lift and oversize tires you're are dreaming...unless you were to raise the 5er a foot higher. I know you like the look of your truck, but it that doesn't make it a tow vehicle!

Another question to ask as it's a toyhauler..how much weight are you putting in the garage. The weight added there takes away hitch weight...low hitch weight would make for evil handling.

Dave

X2, well put Dave.

Also, lifting the trailer to accomodate a lifted truck never made sense to me. Raising the center of gravity on a trailer or any RV to me is scarry. The worst is the guys with big heavy campers on lifted trucks, just makes me cringe when I see them and then move over as I don't want them falling on me when they around a corner to fast.

Might I also point out the rules of this forum which you may want to read through; an excerpt from them:

There is a good reason why this forum is NOT like the OTHER RV forum we all know and hate. It is because of the excellent moderation , administrators and members we have. Keep it in mind and be respectfull.

The black water holding tank thread would've been closed & several of us probably banned as a result.

Seems like everyone is having fun with that black water tank thread. I do hope the OP got his answer before the thread went down the toilet.

Kim, I think that's what makes this a great site. Some joking around w/ the info provided.

The moment a thread on the "other" site veers slightly off topic, it's closed.

Too much moderation. A couple of mods seem OK, but the others seem like wannabe Gestapo officers. I don't know what the qualifications are, but charm wouldn't appear to be 1 of them.

Well, I did have a bit of fun with it, but I have to tell you it was one of the most informative threads on the site (and there is competition!). I found a "repair" chemical for plugged tanks that I would have never heard about as well as an "in depth" view of the inside of a black tank (courtesy of the tank cleaning people's web site.

Seems as if it doesn't take much to turn a thread into bathroom humor. I sure learned more than I thought possible about poop disposal.

This site is not only informative, but a good time. As on any interactive website, it's the moderators who make the site educational and fun. Thanks to you all.
