Trailer turn signal problems

I have a Ford 250 with towing package. My running lights on my trailer but the turn signals and stop lights don't work. I used a test light and discovered that there is no power for them at the plug. I checked my fuse panel and didn't find any blown fuses however, I didn't see any fuses labeled for trailer lights. This is my first visit to tour forum, can anyone help me?

Ford has a separate, smaller fuse box under the hood, next to the master cylinder, that houses the fuses for the trailer plug. Now if you check and have blown fuses, you also have a wiring problem. Make sure you find the problem please, so you don't loose those light 10 miles down the road. Your wiring problem also won't be crossed or miss connected wires, if you have ever had lights working properly on this trailer, with this truck. I say this because I see people want to start rewiring everything, when all they have is bulb with a shorted filament, or something else very easy to find. Good Luck. By the way, if you have never towed a trailer with this truck, the fuses may never have been installed. Check the owner's manual for the truck, it will tell you about them.

When I bought my truck came with a set of relays and fuses that you had to install in order for the plug to work correctly had to install them myself. don't have a smaller fuse box still in the same box just not installed.

I have a 07 F150 the fuses for the trailer are in the same fuse box as the fuses for the truck. The fuses are located on the floor passanger side behide a panel. They are a PITA to get at. My 01 F150 had the fuses for the trailer under the hood. Check your Ford owners manual for the location of the fuse box.

From what I remember, the F250 had a smaller separate box. The F150, and most GM products used the same under hood fuse box. By memory, the F250 had a separate fuse box. Unfortunately, my memory is getting old like the rest of me. Since he didn't say what year the truck was, original owner, etc., can't help him much further.
