The proportions are a bit exaggerated but definitely a telling experiment. Would be interesting to see the same with tandem axles and more realistic proportions dimensionally.

Very good visual. Point being, make sure you have adequate TW on the ball. As the OP said, this illustrates the importance of weight distribution (where the weight is placed), not the importance of a WDH (as I initially took this thread to be).

Great video. I found this out the hard way and wish I had seen this first. I didn't lose control but I did stop to move things around because it was so unstable.

Itat:. I don't think one minute of the video is exaggerated. I had said for years that this type incident could easily happen with SRW trucks with overly long RVs. Anyone​ can drop a set of wheels off the pavement and the rear of the coach jig hard to one side forcing the hitch end to violently kick hard the other way. If you happen to have a SRW truck with lighter front end due to loading you may be dead quick.
