How hard would it be to install a extra Tranny Cooler on a 98 GMC 1500 4x4 EX Cab ? Any Guess. I have a 33 ft Springdale tt.

It's not too difficult- you do have to install plumbing style connectors on the transmission lines coming in to the radiator, and then mount the small radiator supplied to the front of your radiator. About a 2 or 3 hour job, at the most. GOOD LUCK!! Randy

Randy is right. It is not hard at all. I did a google search on 99 Tahoe transmission cooler. I found a web page that a man made pictures of the install. It was great.

Mark,

It's a fairly easy install. Check out the instructions, with a simple diagram, on this page.

Additional links below may help.

Troyer Performance

They have a kit and cooler that has a fan and is thermostatically controlled. Nice unit.
