Take it the scales, fill in the blanks, and you will have a clear answer on where you are at. It's simply the best way. Have the rig fully loaded with gas, passengers, all the gear you want to take with you. you can even dial in you hitch if need be while you're there. Travel Trailer Weight Calculator | Safety Report

You're good to go with that combo. No problems whatsoever. I will say the CCC on the trailer seems a bit low.

Still learning. Chart say's truck base weight is 7500 lbs. GCWR is 25,300 and Max trailer is 17,180.
Again thanks.

Cargo Carrying Capacity. The trailer seems low. Remember that water weighs 8.3lbs per gallon. You can get by if you camp with full hookups and don't travel with gray and black water in the tanks. If you are going to boondock and then drive to a dump station then definitely get a trailer with more CCC. One hundred gallons of water will use up 3/4 of that trailers CCC.

I see no issue with your combo but the best answers come from a trip to the scales. Find a scale here cat scales you will want to weigh fully loaded with all passengers, pets and junk (gear) you plan to have in each when towing. You will make 3 passes on the scales. Typically first weigh is $9-12 and each reweigh in a 24 hrs period is $1-3. These passes can be done in any order.

Weigh 1- just truck no tt. Have front axle on scale pad 1 and rear axle on scale pad 2.

Weigh 2 - truck plus tt no wdh. Truck as in first weigh, all tt axles on scale pad 3.

Weigh 3 - truck plus tt with wdh hooked up.

You can now calculate your weights. Truck gcwr - scaled truck weight = adjusted tow capacity. Truck gvwr- scaled truck weight = available payload.

Weigh 2 minus weigh 1 total weights gives you your total trailer weight. Weigh two front and rear axle weights minus weigh one gives you your tongue weight.

Use weigh 3 to see how well adjusted your wdh is. The idea is to get as close to unloaded front axle weight as possible without going heavier.

I have the same truck but with a 8700 pound dry trailer (PrimeTime LaCrosse 329) and the combo tows great even with a crappy Pro Series hitch. If it is real windy I do put on the second friction sway bar. The Rams tow great and you are great on your numbers so enjoy!
