My China Bais Ply tires lasted 900 miles. Lots of Luck.

I agree with OldCoot on the bent spindle theory. After 6,000 miles my 2014 Rockwood 8289 had 3 badly worn tires, inside edges only. Found that those spindles were bent upward. Forest River paid for realignment.

Well I dropped my trailer off at a trailer repair shop on Monday got the news today that my axles are out of line from the factory and have to be cut off and repositioned.......

Anyone have any luck with FR covering this under warranty?

When we did our cross Canada trip in 2011 we had a bearing come lose because no cotter pin was installed on the crown nut causing the spindle to grove.... Long story.

We were on the east coast of Canada and our dealer on the west coast of Canada went to bat for us.

After a week we had a new axle and FR covered it all.

Cheers,

Anders

Yes. Mine was like too.. axles out of alignment from the factory. FR hooked me up with a new axle, re-alignment, and a new set of tires (including a replacement spare to match the new make and model).

It was a known issue on several 2012 units. Surprised they haven't nipped all that in bud by now.
