Tundra owners- what upgrades have you done?

I know there are a few happy Tundra owners out there towing their TT's with a big smile. My question is what performance upgrades have you made to your beast. Did our first long pull with this setup this weekend- did really well. Other than a 30 mph head wind which caused Clifford to stay in 3rd for about 45 miles-burned thru about 3/8 of a tank on that. Also encountered a 16% grade which even in first gear was starting to bog down

So...what do you guys got under that hood?

Only added airbags. When towing I use 15/20 lbs to take the bounce out of rough roads . Less on smooth highways. I've always been able to tow in 4th or 5th gear without issues. Maybe try switching to all sync oil and air up your tires to the max on the side wall during towing.

Added air bags and Bilstein 5100 shocks Auburn limited slip rear end and super charged it. Puts out over 500 HP and 545 #' torque, awesome in the Rockies, rarely drops to third gear and pulls the 8% grades easily at the speed limit. Only difference is because of the super charger she need premium 91 octane or greater, mileage is the same as long as I keep my foot out of it. 10+ mpg towing and 18+ not towing highway. 15MPG in town.

Timbrens, Rear Sway bar and drop in K&N filter. Does a great job. 9 MPG towing. No issues what so ever....

Cold air intake with K&N filter, air bags, rear sway, Bilstein shocks, EBC dimpled and slotted rotors, EBC brake pads fromy and rear, Prodigy P3, 89 or higher gas, full synthetic oil, royal purple axle lube...

I run mine stock, pulls 5500# easily.

16% grade will slow all but a 1 ton pulling a pop up. Wow.

Engine is stock but I added Super Springs. I get 8-10 mpg while towing.

6,600 towing miles pulling a 7,600 lb TT with 2013 flex fuel DC. Just returned from 4400 mile trip from Alabama to Utah and back, from 500 feet to 8000 feet elevation, and 10-14% grades. Dead stock but have towing package and of course Prodigy 2 controller and 10K Equal-Izer WD hitch.

Tundra has done everything we have asked it to do, and with no problems. We didn't pass many people on the steep hills, but never dropped below 55 MPH nor above 4,000 RPM. I burn high octane during the towing season and am averaging about 9.1 MPG.

After the Utah trip I added the low-bucks version of cold air intake = TRD's low restriction air filter plus the "flow accelerator" piece of the official CAI package. I'm about 400 miles into the 1,000 miles it will take for the computer to react to this change.

NOTE: in your maintenance schedule, you have to change differential fluid and grease the U-joints every 5K miles if you tow a lot. I had missed this and just did all the work yesterday.

Installed AFE intake and throttle body spacer and can tell that there is a difference in the powerband. Ordered TRD exhaust and will put that in next weekend.

went from fl to nc to go camping and jeeping don't tell anyone but the trlr and jp are 13000+ truck did great 60-65 7-8 mpg.
