They need to be reprogrammed for the new "full" pressure.
Check the manual to see how that is done.

Don't understand. My TST registers whatever is in the tire, the alarm limits should be reset to the desired max & min.

"Don't understand. My TST registers whatever is in the tire"

I believe the OP is talking about his truck's factory monitor. The factory probably didn't consider anyone putting such heavy-duty tires on a half-ton!

There are many different models of tire sensors. The crappy ones I got with my camper (for a now i know outrageous sum) need to be reprogrammed as they came factory set to 25 psi alarm. They do not display anything unless they are in alarm. By 25 PSI you are dead meat.

Light Truck Tires
Since light truck tires are often available in multiple load ranges, the appropriate load range is identified immediately following the size's rim diameter in Tire Rack's descriptions.
LT-Metric, LT-Flotation and LT-Numeric tires are branded with their load range (Load Range E or LRE) or their ply rating (10 Ply Rated) on their sidewalls and list their appropriate load range letter in their descriptions as LT245/75R-16 E, 7.50R-15 D or 31x10.50R-15 C.
LT-Metric, LT-Flotation and LT-Numeric Light Truck Tires

Load Range Ply Rating Max Load Pressure
B 4 35psi
C 6 50psi
D 8 65psi
E 10 80psi
F 12 95psi

Trailer tires a similiar but start with ST.....Example ST205/75R15 LRD
LRD meaning Load Range D

Didn't realize they had those kinds of monitors. Can you set a high limit & temperature?

Load range and plies are not accurate anymore. The number of plies depends on the material used to construct the ply. New materials allow manufacturers to keep the load range with less plies.

I have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. The load range is still the same as posted by the manufacturer and those numbers are current.

Today's load range/ply ratings do not count the actual number of body ply layers used to make up the tire's internal structure, but indicate an equivalent strength compared to early bias ply tires. Most radial passenger tires have one or two body plies, and light truck tires, even those with heavy-duty ratings (10-, 12- or 14-ply rated), actually have only two or three fabric plies, or one steel body ply.

Oops. What I meant to say; but it came out wrong; is that plies and load range are not implicit.

For example your list implied that a load range D tire has 8 plies.
No question that a load range D tire will handle 56PSI.

Had the wheels off today. Detailed inspection revealed nothing that would indicate a max tire pressure. Lot's of manufacturer data, "made in China" and a cute little pentastar (but of course), but no inflation data. The wheels are OE upgrades and come equipped with direct TPMS and aluminum valve stem. Safe max pressure? Again, good question and likely a crap shoot without a peek into the original engineering.
