You made a good choice and after your warranty runs out there are a couple of things you can do to improve your fuel mileage. Over Kill, no. you just don't have to work as hard on the long pulls. Happy Travels.

We went from a 1500 Titan to the 3/4 ton Dodge and loved it. The difference is amazing in terms of power and control over the tt. Passing is easier/safer and I personally feel it made me much better looking as I drive! lol

Good choice

Good choice. We bought a 2010 2500 RAM Cummins last Summer. Only 30000 miles on it (barely broke in) and we love it!!
You'll be happy you went with something a little bigger especially when, in a couple of years, you may want to tow something bigger.
Congratulations on getting the issues settled and HAPPY TRAILS

Oh yes, we're waiting for that warranty to run out to enhance our fuel mileage too. We have talked about those upgrades alot lately, especially after getting 9.9 MPH going to SC from PA.

Well........ NO........ Mine's a '14 and looks just like it, except it has a nice ARE camper shell to match... and yep... it's SILVER! I hope yours is as good as mine seems to be. Tows my TT nicely, and when we upgrade next year, the higher weight won't bother it much, if at all. Congrats... great choice!

Congrats on the new TV. Got my 2015 Ram 2500 one month ago. I love the truck. FYI 2015s are having issues with the trailer brake control. I have an appointment in the AM. Check out the towing section of the forum.
