upgraded to HD

So today, I upgraded my Chevy 1500 DBL Cab 6.2L to a GMC 2500 Crew Cab Diesel with the All Terrain Package. Now, I'm ready to go tow my camper to check out the difference in towing with a Diesel.

I may hook up the TT tomorrow for a test tow.

I have the Silverado version. You are really going to enjoy towing. It is a dream . It looks like it does not have a grill on the lower grill opening ( mine did not) . I was concerned about rocks damaging radiators so I added Carriage-Works-Billet-Bumper. Simple install and looks good. Check the receiver if it has a 2.5 inch rcvr make sure dealer gave you the adapter.

I have both sleeves, first thing I checked . I looked for the Chevy version since I'm a Chevy guy, but that didn't work out to well in my search. I got this pretty much for a steel overall, the dealer came back with an offer we couldn't refuse.

Let us know what you think after your first tow. Nice looking truck and out of the big three the one with the best ride.

Keep checking the rear view mirror as you will not think you have a load!
