urgent- setting brake controller

Ford 2018 F150 Supercrew, max tow pkg. FR Surveyor 2017 251RKS trailer.
Built in Ford brake controller gain set at 7.5, at 25 mph I squeeze the brake controller and trailer wheels locked up/skidded at 20 mph.

DEALER repack the bearings. Tried the same pre trip, squeeze the brake controller(uped the gain to 9.5) and wheels did not lock up, trailer and truck gradually slowed. Took back to Dealer. Dealer said the tech who repacked wheel bearings did not adjust brakes. Dealer adjusted the brakes. Did same pre trip test. With gain at 9.5 trailer wheels slowed the truck and trailer down and started to slid/skid at 10mph.

AM I good to go?

Sounds good. On my GMC I only had to run about 7 to 7.5
