I've gotten on good authority and from a reliable source that forest river 5th wheels and travel trailers are NOT shipped with propane but are shipped with tanks and the propane weight is included in the UVW.
Also battery or batteries are not shipped with unit and are not included in the uvw.
From my Coachmen manual in the section, Weight Terminology: "The weight of fully filled propane containers is considered part of the weight of the RV before it is loaded with cargo and is not considered part of the disposable cargo load."
That's going to be confusing. I wonder why they would do that. UVW is generally understood to be w/o LP tanks, batteries, or spare tire.
Just to clarify... it's sounds like you're saying it now includes "filled" LP tank weight? Not just the tanks themselves, right?
Maybe FR needs a new dictionary to look up "unloaded"
I should clarify, they include the "tank"/ "tanks" and the "propane" weight in the uvw but propane is not shipped with the unit from the factory, only the tank.
