V10 break in period.

Just bought a 2015 Forest River FR3 30DS. We named our new Motorhome "Jenny" We pick Jenny up 3/7/15 and she has just over 650mikes on her. In May we are taking Jenny on her 1st trip from Minnesota to Moab Utah. Jenny will not only be loaded for a 2 week trip but she will also be asked to tow a car trailer with a highly modified 2000 Jeep (OlllllllO) Wrangler one the trailer. Yes we're heading to Moab to get in some serious rock crawling. Question, with only 650 mikes on Jenny will she be up to towing about 6,000 pounds so early in her life? Any insight and input would be so very much welcome and Appreciated. Thank You, and we are standing by.Click image for larger version

Typically a new vehicle will state " do not tow the first 500 miles". I don't see a issue with towing a car with 650 miles on your MH.

Not weight police, but you asked for opinions.....The FR30 is rated for 5000 lbs. towing capacity. Sure you're up to 6000 lbs?

Hook up to it and go. I never saw a disclaimer for big trucks ( otr) advising against hauling heavy for the first xxx miles. Plus, it already has 650 miles on it so I would go to moab and enjoy the slick rocks. I have always wanted to go to at least check it out.

Are you sure your jeep and trailer weigh 6000 lbs?

No not sure of the weight, just a guess, trailer about 1800lb and jeep pushing 4000lb. It's got a Dana 60 rear, 44 front and 37" tires on steel rims. Plus a winch, bumpers full size spare. Same with my trailer it has a winch on it also.

What do you guys feel my weight may be? The trailer is a 2007 16 foot 2 axle with a wood deck. It have a 8,000ib winch mounted on it pretty heavy duty. Plus a deep cell battery. ?
